Essential Ear Lobe Piercing Aftercare Guide-“Spray, Wiggle, Wipe”

Caring for Ear Lobe Piercings 
Clean Twice a Day for 6 Weeks for Optimal Healing.

  1. Spray: Apply a light mist of our saline spray to both sides of your piercing.
  2. Wiggle: (Lobes ONLY, never wiggle Cartilage piercings)!! Gently move the earring back and forth just enough to allow the solution to reach inside the piercing.
  3. Wipe: Pat around the piercing with a clean tissue to absorb any leftover solution.

Helpful Reminders

  • Twice Daily Cleaning: Stick to the routine in the morning and evening or after sports or swimming.
  • Earrings Stay In: Keep earrings in place 24/7 for the first 9-12 months to ensure your piercing stays open and heals fully.
  • Avoid Touching and Twisting: Only touch your piercings during cleaning to prevent irritation.
  • Loose Fit Matters: Wear earrings at the loosest setting for the first 6-8 weeks. Tight fits can cause irritation an embedding.
  • Wait to Change Earrings: Hold off on swapping earrings for 6-8 weeks, choosing small, straight post studs for the first 6 months. Lubricate earring posts with vaseline and avoid friction for 6 months.
  • Fully Healed Lobes: Takes 4-6 months to fully heal.
